What is Reiki?

Pronounced “ray-kee”, Reiki is a relaxing and restorative energy-balancing practice. In Japanese, the word Reiki means spiritually guided (Rei) life force energy (ki), and receiving Reiki connects you to this good-willed, intelligent and naturally healing energy. A Reiki session may also include crystals or essential oils, which also have healing vibrations. Reiki is excellent for supporting physical, mental and emotional well-being as well as for spiritual growth and transformation. Specifically, this to not only explore who you are authentically, but also to develop your life.

How does it work?

During a Reiki session, you will lie comfortably, fully clothed. Hands are gently placed on and/or over you. The session can be tailored to your current needs, based on a chakra reading, or be for overall healing. You may experience warmth or light tingling or simply a deep relaxation as Reiki provides balancing at a deep level. Most people notice a difference after the first treatment, and the benefits grow with repeated sessions. Reiki sessions are typically an hour in length.
